VEE - Your Workplace Culture: How to Know It's Working
When a new hire asks about your culture, do you have an answer? If you do have an answer, is it based on what you hope is true about your culture or what you KNOW is true based on data?
Culture is like a database, made up of many small things that come together to paint a picture of what it's like to work for your company or be one of your clients. Those include the obvious like values, mission statement and goals, but your culture is also made up of habits, dialects, and unspoken rules. Even things like the decor, your lunch and break rooms, and artwork on the walls represent aspects your culture.
This VEE uses our data collection game, The Game with No Name, for a collaborative research exercise. We help you identify a team of department representatives. Then we organize the online platform and provide methods for transcribing the results. With your contributions, Workplace Culture Store produces a report based on the data gathered.
