VEE - Kingdom; The Game of Leadership Dramas, Dilemmas and Deals
Kingdom requires modern leaders to go back in time and use ancient technology to solve old problems, like the threat of war, territorial disputes, or food shortages, but they’re equipped with modern awareness and understanding. The game is exciting, unifying and tantalizing to the intellect. If you are in the market for leadership training, you must give your team this VEE.
In Kingdom, players must perform one of five roles: king, prophet, priest, messenger, and subject. Teams must collaborate to solve one ancient dilemma, one drama and strike deals with other kingdoms. They are challenged to apply 10 modern leadership principles and the judges evaluate them based on those principles.
For an effective game of Kingdom, you will need three teams of at least five people and at least three volunteer judges. With one game you can have up to 60 players. If you have a larger group than 60, you can still play Kingdom, but you will have to have simultaneous games underway. The object of Kingdom is to produce a 10-year plan for solving an ancient problem using modern leadership principles. A panel of judges choose a winning plan from among at least three competing teams. You can also extend the game to three rounds to allow teams to prove their dominance over a half-day.
